CITY OF WAUBUN MN SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 25, 2005 JOINT MEETING WITH FIRE DEPARTMENT Mayor Peter Haddeland called the special meeting to order at 7:00 PM. The venue was changed from the Fire Hall to the Community Center because of the anticipated size of the crowd. Council members present were: Ken Kylmanen, Larry Swiers, Leonard Wells, Milo Winter and Peter Haddeland. Staff present: Germaine Riegert, City Clerk Fire Department: Chief Paul Brehm, Paul Ahles, Leon Stalberger, Bill Gomall, Ed Scheler, Scott Brehm, Brett Brehm and Ryan Hendrickson. Others: Members of the public (did not sign the sign-in roster) Mayor Haddeland turned the meeting over to Councilor Wells and asked him to ask the questions as he had prepared them. He also stated that this was a meeting between the Council and the Fire Department and no one would be allowed to speak at the present time as it was not a public forum. Mr. Wells went through the questions individually and asked the Police Chief to respond, which he did. He also had the responses prepared in writing. A complete list of the questions and answers is attached and will be on file in the official City minute book. Upon completion of the question and answer session, the Mayor allowed several members of the public to give general comments. No further action was taken and the meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM upon a motion for adjournment from Kylmanen which was seconded by Winter.
