Norman County Raceway

 Racing resumed after the July 4th holiday break at the Norman County Raceway in Ada Minnesota Friday night. A total of 76 cars raced through the heats with only one caution flag. The features were filled with side by side racing and few cautions and some first time feature winners. Shane Sabraski drove his 7A to a first time win in the Midwest Mods. Sabraski overtook Lance Schill with nine laps remaining and hold on for the win. Last seasons Purestock points champ at NCR, Justin Olson won his first feature this season. Olson and Tim Shiek raced side by side for five laps before Olson pulled away. Current 4 cylinder points leader Stacy Pederson Roy won the heat and feature again this week. In the Modifieds, Dustin Strand, current NCR points leader was racing third until a yellow caution tightened the race and after the re-start Strand took the #71 to the front and another feature win at NCR. Josh Abrahamson also returned to NCR with another feature win by leading the Mod Fours from start to finish. There's racing again next Friday at NCR starting at 7pm.
