The Norman County Raceway was a dry, fast, smooth track on Friday night for the 2nd week of racing in Ada, Minnesota.
The night of racing saw very few caution flags and exciting racing with cars racing two, three and four wide.
Bryce Mueller of Mahnomen won for the first time in his race career when he overcame friend and fellow racer Luke Littlewolf with three laps left before the checkered flag was waved. Littlewolf is driving Muellers car from last year.
Austin Arneson also raced to his second feature win in the Midwest Mods. Arneson said the track was great, fast and the car worked without using a lot of power-- "that was the key" said Arneson on the post race show.
Dean "thunder" Lundon of Mahnomen won his first feature race this season in the PureStocks when he led the entire race. Lundon said , " i was able to hold the line on the top of the track and kept everyone behind me".
In the Modifieds, Blake Jetvig of Hawley took the lead with 15 laps remaining and held off all challengers for the feature win.
