KRJB first signed on the air on October 1st 1987 as KRJB 106.3FM operating with 6,000 watts of power. KRJB entertained its listeners with country music, local and national news, weather, community events and high school sports. The emphasis of KRJB has and continues to be local programming. On September 15th 2007, KRJB made a big move from 106.3 on the FM dial and 6,000 watts of power to 106.5FM that is operating at 100,000 watts from a brand new 500 foot tower just north of Ada, Minnesota. After more than 20 years of service to the area, KRJB management still feels that, "If we stay involved in the community and provide local information, everything else should fall in place."
